I am excited to announce that I am running for re-election to the Vermont State Senate. When I first ran for the senate in 2018, I made a commitment to my constituents to listen, show up, do my homework, and help government work for the people of the Addison District. Over the past six years, I have consistently tried to fulfill my promises. I have worked hard to deliver:
- Historic support for high-quality, affordable childcare
- Strong protections for abortion & reproductive justice
- Flood relief, recovery, and resiliency
- Pragmatic public safety & crime reduction reforms
- Overdose prevention & treatment for opioid epidemic
- Vocal advocacy for public schools & public libraries
- Equity, justice & human rights for all Vermonters
- Environmental protections & support for agriculture
- Expanded broadband access for rural communities
- Common-sense gun safety measures
- Balanced housing & land-use solutions
- Transparent, accountable & ethical government
- Responsive constituent services & communication
It has been an honor to serve as your state senator and there is more work to do. This is going to be a competitive race, with a contested primary on August 13 and a contested general election on November 5. I need your vote and your support. Please help me return to the Senate so together we can continue to work for a better Vermont for everyone. Thank you.
