The Vermont Primary Election is one week from today, on Tuesday, August 13. Please remind everyone you know to vote. Voters are focused on November and most people don’t know there’s a contested primary election. Turnout is expected to be low, so getting out the vote is crucial. There’s still time for early voting this week or make a plan to vote next Tuesday.
The support for Ruth’s campaign has been incredible this summer. We’ve received nearly 150 individual contributions, most of them small-dollar donations from people in towns across the Addison District, supporters have written letters to the paper and posts on social media, and Ruth has been endorsed by major advocacy organizations, in recognition of her diverse policy work in the State House.
Ruth is also grateful to be endorsed by her colleagues in the State House who work with her on a daily basis to represent every town in the Addison District and pass legislation to improve health care, education, consumer protections, government accountability, and the environment. They know first-hand how effectively Ruth works for the people of the Addison District.
