We did it! On Tuesday, you showed up and voted, helping me win the Democratic primary by wide margins in towns across the Addison District. I am honored to be your senator and have your vote, support, and trust. Thank you.
This campaign has been a team effort! Special thanks goes to my core team — Andrew, Anna, Bas, David, Izzy, and Joanna who helped me knock on hundreds of doors and make hundreds of phone calls and texts to get out the vote. Thank you to folks who wrote wonderful letters and posts supporting the campaign, and people & organizations who hosted events and made contributions. Thank you to my kids for putting up with another summer of campaigning, and most especially, thank you to my husband Jason who is an incredible partner, data nerd, strategist, and my biggest cheer leader.
This campaign is not over. We have 2 1/2 months until the General Election and there’s more work to do. I will keep working hard to engage with voters and win in November. I will help other candidates too. Most importantly, I hope you’ll join me in making sure that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz win the White House in November. Every campaign is a team effort, so let’s do this together!
