Have you filled out your ballot? Two weeks ago when my daughter was filling out her ballot at college, she texted me to say, “You’re on the same ballot as Kamala! Obviously, I knew that but it’s cool to see on paper!” I think it’s cool too.
Before I was elected to the Senate, I ran Emerge Vermont, which recruits and trains women to run for office. Emerge was founded by women who helped Kamala Harris win her first election. Kamala was the first Emerge woman. Now let’s all help her win this election to be the first woman president. I’m honored to be on the ballot with her and to stand by her side this election (even the cardboard version of her!).
In this final week, please help me win this election too. Talk with neighbors and post on Front Porch Forum about why you’re voting for me. If you haven’t already, consider making a small contribution to help me reach even more voters before Election Day.
Most of all make a plan to vote and talk with your family and friends in Vermont and around the country about their plans to vote. You can return your ballot to your town clerk’s office or dropbox, or vote in person on Election Day. Check out these links about how to vote in Vermont and how to vote in other states to help you and the people you know make plans to vote. Thank you for your support. When we vote, we win!
