So much has changed since you elected me to be your state senator in 2018. We’re in the midst of a global pandemic, a significant economic crisis, and nationwide strife fueled by a malicious president, police brutality, and systemic racism. The daily stress and uncertainty can be overwhelming.
As your senator, I have worked to ease your stress by communicating regularly about the status of the COVID crisis, helping you access the assistance you need, and advocating for the resources our community must have to get through these incredibly difficult times.
I am running for re-election to the Vermont Senate to continue this work and ensure that the world we rebuild after this crisis works for all Vermonters. This crisis has laid bare huge systemic inequalities across nearly every sector of society. We must learn from this crisis and do better for all Vermonters.
I’m here to be your Senator!
I am running for re-election, but unlike in 2018 when I knocked on thousands of doors and met hundreds of people at events throughout our district, I can’t campaign intensely face-to-face. But I am still here to be your senator.
Please reach out to me to let me know your thoughts and needs. Let me know if you’d like me to come to a virtual event or make arrangements to meet safely in person. I earned your vote in 2018 and I want to earn it again in 2020.
We all know that 2020 is a crucial election year for our country. Make sure you vote by mail or in person on August 11—see the state’s voter site for details. Together, let’s stay safe, stay engaged, and rebuild a stronger, more just Vermont.
Thank you for your ongoing support. Stay safe and be well.
